The Camden Fairview Cardinals defeated the Harding Academy Wildcats, 40-18. With the win, CF advances to the second round of the 5A State Playoffs and will travel to face Farmington next week.
The Cardinals trailed at the end of the first quarter before taking a 34-10 lead into the half.
The Harmony Grove Hornets season was ended by a touch Dumas Bobcat team at home, 28-14. In that game, the Hornets led 14-13 at the half.
HG received the ball to start the third but were stopped and the Bobcats went to work deep inside Hornet territory and capitalized with a touchdown and a two point conversion. The bobcats would add another touchdown with less than 6 minutes left in the game.
The Bearden Bears fell to the Mount Ida Lions, 45-20.
