The Week 4 Camden News Players of the Week put up big numbers as conference play began in Arkansas high school football. Harmony Grove was the only Ouachita County team to pick up a win as they held on to defeat Smackover 50-42. Camden Fairview and Bearden fell in one-possession games with CF losing 43-36 to Hot Springs Lakeside and the Bears losing 14-12 in Hazen.

Harmony Grove quarterback Damian Burns led the Hornets to a 50-42 victory over Smackover with 17 rushes for 155 yards and three touchdowns. He also threw for a 75 yard touchdown and collected an interception on defense.

Camden Fairview's Trent Haygood accounted for nearly 300 all purpose yards with 167 rushing yards, 24 receiving yards and 106 return yards in the Cardinal's 43-36 loss to Hot Springs Lakeside. Sophomore Cardinal wide receiver Dayton Browning collected a season high of 87 receiving yards and scored his first touchdown of the season.
