1. What do you see as the most pressing issue facing Ouachita county ?
Taxes, roads, Hospital Issue
2. What is your answer to continued funding of economic development?
If a City or County does not have a plan for economic growth, that City or County will die out. Funds are necessary for successful economic development. Those funds can only come from City and County coffers.
3. How do you plan to help deal with the need for increased low-income housing in Ouachita County ?
I honestly don't believe that the Quorum Court can do anything about low-cost housing. That would be a question for the housing authority. I had rather see a builder with a vision come in and build a nice new housing addition for middle class families who choose to work in Camden and East Camden.
4. What will you do to serve the needs of your constituents?
I will listen to their concerns, look for answers and always put all of Ouachita County first.
5. What do you see as the most pressing issue facing South Arkansas?
South Arkansas lacks housing for middle class families who are working in the area. There are few houses for the middle class to choose from. This for for houses for sale as well as rental property. Schools are another problem. We have to make our schools better so families will want to come to Ouachita County. The area needs more family friendly activities.
6. What is your answer to continued funding of economic development in South Arkansas?
Redundant. Question 3 addresses the same thing. If a City or County does not have a plan for economic growth, that City or County will die out. Funds are necessary for successful economic development. Those funds can only come from City and County coffers.
